For the 3D Rad User,

yet another *FREE* 3D Rad update we get thanx to voluntary donations. Get
involved! Help fund the next update!

The November 2009 release of 3D Rad brings a new 'Scanner' object you can
use to implement ray-casting based weapons or to scan the surroundings,
when implementing AI systems. For an example of usage, please see the
ScannerDemo project, included to the new installation file.

This update also comes with several new features to improve ease of use
further for non-coders and critical bug fixes.


HOW TO INSTALL THE UPDATE

1. download the latest 3D Rad version at

http://www.3drad.com

2. you don't have to uninstall any previous version before installing this
update.

3. the procedure is the same for a fresh install (no previous version
installed on your system).


EXTRA RESOURCES

If you haven't done it last month, don't forget to also install the 40 Mb
of extra resources. Grab them free at the community forum!

Sortie de la version 6.44, elle est réservée à ceux qui soutiennent le projet. La version 6.41 quant à elle devient ouverte à tout le monde...

Version 6.42 of 3D Rad, which brings new features to help achieve even more without any coding, has finally become public and can now be downloaded by everyone at http://www.3drad.com !

You can now transform objects and smoothly switch between animations run-time, play short video clips within your games by using Sprites and implement auto-fire functionality without typing one single line of code.

A new donors-only version (v6.45, will be public in July 2010) has also been released, with support for autonomous path finding and improved support for user-created shaders.
